One of the successful investments made in our beautiful Izmir in the recent period is the Izmir Marriot Hotel project. Within this distinguished project, the design of outdoor pools, indoor pools and children’s pools and activity units, the realization of all electrical and mechanical installation works and their operation and delivery were carried out by Pekcan teams.
The hotel’s outdoor pool is located on the rooftop. The pool, which has a capacity of 75.00 m3, has also been designed and designed as an activity pool. The filtration, disinfection, lighting and activity units of the pool have been designed in line with the standardization of swimming pools. As the disinfection system of the pool, ozone disinfection systems, which are advanced hygiene systems, were preferred in combination with automatic chlorinated disinfection.
When designing the roof pool, the infinite overflow pool model was preferred. It is aimed to enjoy swimming by dominating the view of Izmir bay. The rooftop pool is also used as an activity-massage pool. In a part of the pool, wall mounted hydro jet massage system was applied. It has been supplemented with the application of aero-jet to enhance the therapeutic and relaxing effect of hydro-massage on the body of pool users.
On the other side of the pool, a reinforced concrete pool ladder was manufactured. Reinforced concrete stairs have been designed considering that older and overweight users prefer more.
The indoor pool has a usage volume of 123.00 m3. While designing this pool, it is aimed to be used as an activity pool where users will both enjoy and relax away from stress. For this reason, one wall of the indoor pool is designed as a jet massage unit. It has been supplemented with the application of aero-jet to enhance the therapeutic and relaxing effect of hydro-massage on the body of pool users. Pool water is heated.

For younger users, a children’s pool is available. Considering the health and hygiene of children, the filtration, disinfection and lighting units of the pool have been designed in line with the standardization of children’s swimming pools. As the disinfection system of the pool, ozone disinfection systems, which are advanced hygiene systems, were preferred in combination with automatic chlorinated disinfection.
